Kanturk Christmas Lights Committee has decided to go ahead & erect as many of the Christmas lights as possible again this year.
They feel that it’s important for the businesses of the town and it creates a feel good factor for visitors and the general public who during these difficult times need a moral boost & a bit of festive spirit.
The Kanturk lights are all new modern LED’s which are energy efficient & cost little to run over the Christmas period.
For those who supply electricity for the lights, our electricians estimate the cost will be no more than €30 per business/household for the whole duration from early December to mid-January.
We would like to thank all those businesses & households who agree to put up the lights on their premises & houses as well as supplying the electricity at their own expense.
