Due to this group the Town has never looked better with all parts of the Town getting a spruce up from all the incoming roads to the streets and parks, But the more you clean up a place the more jobs you spot that need to be done but this all comes at a cost. Kanturk town is hugely attractive to residents and visitors alike. This is due in large measure to the efforts and time of up to 30 Tidy Towns Volunteers who give of their time throughout the year. The Tidy Towns Committee also take care of the four parks and many other green spaces within the town.
